Mager's Speed Shop was Chevy man Harry "Big Foot" Magers' headquarters — a real speed shop, on a real corner, run by a man whose nickname alone tells you everything you need to know about how he got it. The kind of shop that did not need a slick logo or a modern rebrand to earn a reputation. It earned it the way every great speed shop earns it — by doing the work, doing it right, and letting the name on the building do the rest of the talking.

The shop is closed now. The building may have changed hands, changed uses, or disappeared into the way cities change over sixty years. Harry Magers is gone. But the sign is not — and it should not be. This banner is a faithful reproduction of the original Mager's Speed Shop signage, bowtie and all, exactly as it hung outside 1148 Logan at Oak back when it meant something to pull up to that curb.
